A Tier-One Operation

Located approximately 45 km northeast of Bouaké in central Côte d'Ivoire, the Aurora Goldfields Hub benefits from exceptional infrastructure, a skilled local workforce, and a supportive mining jurisdiction.

The operation utilizes a conventional open-pit truck and excavator mining method, feeding a highly optimized Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) processing plant. Since pouring its first gold, Aurora Goldfields has consistently outperformed throughput and recovery expectations, establishing itself as the cornerstone of our West African portfolio.

Geology & Exploration

Geology & Exploration

Gold occurs in shear-hosted quartz‑carbonate veining and disseminations within altered volcanics and sediments. The structural corridor controlling the Aurora Goldfields deposit extends for over 15 kilometers.

Mineralization remains open along strike and at depth. A US$12 million brownfields exploration program is currently underway, focusing on infill drilling to upgrade resources and testing strike extensions on the Main and East trends to extend mine life.

Community & Environment

Community & Environment

Aurora Goldfields is a model for responsible mining in West Africa. We currently employ over 900 Ivorian nationals, with 65% drawn directly from the local communities surrounding the mine.

Environmental stewardship is integrated into daily operations. The site utilizes a state-of-the-art lined tailings storage facility and a closed-loop water management system that recycles over 75% of process water, minimizing draw from local watersheds.
