Puna Leach Mine
A steady, low-cost open-pit heap leach operation providing reliable, consistent gold production in a favorable Latin American mining jurisdiction.
Open-Pit Excellence
Situated in the high Andes of Salta Province, Argentina, Puna is a low-cost open-pit operation that recovers gold through heap leaching.
Through practical metallurgy and disciplined cost control, Puna delivers reliable, consistent margins, serving as a steady cornerstone of our Latin American portfolio.
Deposit Geology
Mineralization at Puna occurs within an oxidized epithermal system, well-suited to efficient open-pit mining and heap-leach recovery.
Our 2026 exploration program focuses on extending the known mineralized zones, aiming to rapidly replace mined depletion and extend the overall mine life.
Heap Leach Processing
Run-of-mine ore is crushed and stacked on lined leach pads, with gold recovered through a modern ADR (Adsorption-Desorption-Recovery) circuit.
This process yields marketable doré bars at a low unit cost, while minimizing its environmental footprint.
